Description    

Cinnamon – laurel family tree, growing in lots of tropical and subtropical countries. It‘s genesis southeast Asia. This is small always green tree leathery leaves. Bark is rust colour and strong specifical flavour. Young lops dry bark – cinnamon – from old times is used and appreciate as spice. Bark is coil up in drying proces and latter it is cuting.

 

Cinnamon bark has a lot of cellulars, ferment substances, resins, pitch, pectin, furfurol, a bit fats, a lot of calcium oxalat and 2-3,5 volatile oils, whitch contains from cinnamon aldehyde and eugenol. For flavour and sweet taste cinnamon bark is used in gastronomy and confectionery.

 

Cinnamon bark is used as excitant and restorative medicament.
